After being involved in the filter industry from the mid 1970’s, specialising with filter presses and rubber carrier belt filters, “Polyfilters” was formed by Martyn Walton in 1994 since which time the Polyfilter”has been developed into the world’s leading solution for Horizontal Vacuum Belt Filters, giving it ultra low capital, operation and maintenance costs, along with unrivalled reliability. 

Since its inception, the "POLYFILTER" vacuum belt filter has been developed and refined over the years and many of the filters are now over 25 years old and still operating 24 hours per day, 7 days per week with minimal operator involvement and maintenance. The only consumable item on the filter is the actual filter cloth. 

AJM Polyfilters Ltd are manufacturing the latest version of the POLYFILTER filter from modern manufacturing premises in West Yorkshire, England. Here we can carry out laboratory testing of your product. If and when necessary, our Pilot filter can be hired for longer trials at a clients premises.

Historically and generally, the filter is operated completely by pneumatics making it ideally suited for ATEX Hazardous zones. AJM Polyfilters continues to develop the filter and now with the introduction of PLC control systems it can be integrated into most Siemens, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi process controls.
